About Us

To fulfill our mission of “building bridges from poverty to promise”, Fortress supports families in Fort Worth’s Historic Southside community as they work to achieve stability, health, and happiness. Our early childhood, after school, and parent engagement programs provide academic, social-emotional, spiritual, and concrete supports. Through meaningful relationships and outcomes-driven programming, children and their families utilize existing strengths and new skills as they work to overcome barriers rooted in systemic inequities, generational trauma, and life circumstances.
